Creative Software Review

I've been meaning to bring back the popular software reviews on the Cybia website for a while, but this time I have decided to produce them as a series of PDF magazine downloads. The first issue is out now and covers the subject of natural media converters.

Issue 1 : Learn how to convert your photos into realistic hand-painted masterpieces!

The standard filters that come with photo-editing apps are no longer a match for the new breed of software that offer to 're-paint' your photos in the style of the masters.

These don't just apply a quick overall effect to your images, they can actually paint with thousands of individual brush strokes in front of your eyes.

Find out which of these programs will suit your needs, when we test a selection of the best!

Reviewers : I will be looking for help with writing future reviews, articles and tutorials for the following issues, so if anyone is interested in being part of this new magazine then please feel free to get in touch. Applicants should be experienced with graphics software and used to testing out demos and beta versions.

The current issue of Creative Software Review magazine will always be available from this page on the Cybia website. But the magazine also has it's own dedicated site where you will be able to download back issues in future. Please visit for more info.
